7 Must Have WordPress Plugins for 2016

In this post we’ll discuss the top 7 “Must have” WordPress Plugins.

These WordPress Plugins made this  list because of their support,  reliability, performance and features.

So without further ado, lets begin.

Our 7 Must Have WordPress Plugins

(in no particular order)

1.Yoast SEO

An obvious choice.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock you are probably familiar with Yoast SEO. Its the “all in one” package in terms of SEO WordPress plugins but what we like best about it is how helpful it can be when you are writing.

Yoast’s “readability” tab can be just what you need if you are having difficulty drafting your copy.

2.Contact form 7

A staple in all WordPress installs.

Believe it or not, this WordPress Plugin does not get the praise it deserves – yet most WordPress Themes rely on it. Contact form 7 is flexible, has a variety of applications and makes adding basic contact pages to your site a breeze.

Additionally, it features CAPTCHA integration solutions as well which really helps keep the spam at bay.

3. Jetpack

Another no-brainer.

Jetpack by WordPress.com is another personal favorite.

It streamlines WordPress site management by providing a suite of features like: Visitor stats, Social Sharing, Enhanced Distribution and more.

This WordPress plugin can also help protect your site from Brute force attacks and unauthorized logins as well. Sweet.

Jetpack is also open-source as well (we love that!) – so you can bank on improvements and enhancements being just around the corner.

6.Visitors Maps and Who’s online

Another personal favorite.

If you like to see who’s on your site right now – this is the WordPress Plugin for you.

Once installed, this plugin allows you to see:

  • who’s on your site
  • where they came from
  • what page they are on
  • when their last click was

7. Social Locker for WordPress

(premium – paid)

Social locker for WordPress is a premium WordPress plugin that allows you to lock your content (hide it) and only unlocks it once the visitor has shared or a liked your content on the social network of your choosing.

The reason: it helps to improve the social performance of your site.
